AVAILABLE POSITIONS

KITCHEN: PREP COOK

JOB TYPE: Full time / Part time
PAY RANGE: $12-20 per hour depending on experience PLUS tip share
EXPERIENCE: minimum 1 year cooking/prep experience required

DESCRIPTION:
This position requires the ability to maintain and exectute the kitchen prep list ensuring that all food preparation is done in an efficient manner while following appropriate health and safety standards. Prep cooks should also be able to take direction from the kitchen manager and be capable of multitasking effectively.

FRONT OF HOUSE: SERVING LINE CREW

JOB TYPE: Full time / Part time
PAY RANGE: $10-$18 per hour depending on experience PLUS tip share
EXPERIENCE: preferred but not required

DESCRIPTION:
This position requires excellent communication skills. OCS is a counter-service style restaurant, so serving line crew members are responsible for taking and filling customer orders on demand in view of the customer. Responsibilities include preparing the dining room for service, set-up and break-down of serving line, basic/minor food prep, maintaining and communicating inventory levels to kitchen manager, and maintaining a clean appearance and work environment. Rotating cash register shifts are available for interested qualified individuals.

PIT ROOM: PIT HAND / BBQ COOK / MEAT PREP

JOB TYPE: Full time / Part time
PAY RANGE: $10-$20 per hour depending on experience PLUS tip share
EXPERIENCE: not required

DESCRIPTION:
This position is integral to our operation. Punctuality and reliability is of utmost importance. Preference will be given to candidates seeking to learn and advance their career over candidates who are simply looking for a job. This position requires the ability to stand for a full shift, ability to lift and carry cases of meat (up to 80lbs), ability to stand, bend, crouch, ability to work in extremely hot and cold environments, and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. This position requires the handling of wood, live fire, knives, raw and cooked meats, axes, wood splitters, and other potentially dangerous tools. Neatness and attention to detail are a must. Duties include but are not limited to trimming, grinding, and seasoning meats, making sausages, cut/chop/shred/package cooked meat, prepare sauces/rubs/marinades, assist pitmaster in loading & unloading smokers, fire management, stacking and splitting of firewood, and checking and putting away deliveries.
